CEO Message.

The recent results achieved by  BPM devote more than 15 years of  tireless efforts to serve our customers, that we had the privilege and the intense pleasure to share the growth and success with them. I am thinking, first, of the SME sector and independent professionals, who made the glory of our Institution, formerly known as "Mauritania Leasing" and later turned into "BPM".

I am thinking also of individuals, employees and other independent actors, and service that make our bank resolutely popular, has oriented a major part of its sales network. The satisfaction and loyalty of our customers, to whom we owe a special debt, they are at the root of the successes achieved. Our performances are specifically assigned to an approach with four levers:

  • A strategy of proximity, customer focus and diligent and proactive support for those who dare to undertake and succeeed their business projects;
  • Offering a wide range of banking services and products particularly flexible and varied, to ensure access of a large number of our fellow citizens to financial products.
  • A controlled risk management, built on the valuable skills acquired by our employees aiming at ensuring the sustainability of the risk-taking process on the different segments of our customers.
  • The permanent and continuous investment in the training of our staff and the full involvement of the latter in the design and implementation of policies.

However, we recognize that enormous challenges still remain and that achieving considerable potential for future growth, authorised by the promising economic opportunities of our country, requires from our teams more mobilisation, proximity and customer orientation and placing them constantly, in all circumstances, at the heart of our concerns.
